OUR STORY
Founded by Marisa Mauri-Dooris, our company draws on influences from the natural world.

Madam Lampini was launched in 2013 and located on Darling Street, Balmain, in an iconic 1974 Citroen HY Van. We are now operating from our studio, on Mary Street in Hunters Hill, a beautiful space, both bustling and serene, and a centre for our creativity.
Sydney and beyond

Marisa, AKA, Madam Lampini
Marisa was born in the UK and brought up in the leafy suburb of Barnes, London. She studied History of Art and French and during this time worked on Saturdays in a local flower shop. After finishing her studies she joined a leading London florist in Notting Hill Gate, and it was here, alongside highly talented and experienced florists, that she became involved in creating spectacular floral decorations for weddings, funerals, lavish parties, film premieres, and charity events, in addition to daily orders for their many famous clients.
OUR STORY IN PICTURES

My grandmother, Yvonne Costella-Bucklé was French, and my grandfather, Carlo Mauri, Italian. She was a courageous and an active member of the French resistance during World War II, and it is as tribute to her, and my Italian background, that has inspired our chosen name.
But why then Madam (English) and not Madame (French)? Well, this is to acknowledge my mother, who is British!
